Daniella Jukic – Alice Be Curious
In Australia, there is so much look-alike fashion jewellery that lacks innovative design. That's why I see room to develop my unique, quirky and fun fashion jewellery here. In 2009, together with my business partner, I established our brand, Alice Be Curious.
| Generally, I source parts and materials in mainland China and Hong Kong and I'm currently looking into Thailand for cabochons, cameos, filigree setting, ring bases, chains, wooden charms and links, and putting them together in Australia for my brooches, earrings and rings. Since Alice Be Curious is very green in this industry, we only retail products directly to customers at the moment, at from US$2 to US$20. |
Statement pieces, whether massive necklaces, chunky bracelets or solid rings, all dominate Spring/Summer 2010. Our big rings sell quite well among all. Customers just love the detailed cabochons, which give a vintage touch to a whole piece.
