Crystal guru brings fruits of joint efforts to June Fair

This year, CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements once again made a sparkling appearance in the June edition of Asia's Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair with its showcase platform. Innovative cuts, colours and stones along with the latest trends were presented, not to mention its designer collaboration projects.

Recently, CRYSTALLIZED™ has cooperated with designer Andrée Putman to launch a special collection of lily, orchid and dragonfly pendants to celebrate the beauty of nature. Other internationally famous designer brands have also worked with the crystal elements label to create their own pieces, all showcased in the platform.

The renowned names include: Kenneth Jay Lane and Ben Amun from the USA; Philippe Ferrandis and Alexandre de Paris from France; Erickson Beamon and Tateossian from the UK; Bea Valdes from the Philippines; Dori Csengeri from Israel; etc. Some pieces can also be found in high-end retail shops.

Taking the "Caracas" collection as an example, French designer Philippe Ferrandis has injected elements from summertime and exotic parties of the 70's into the pieces, paying tribute to the fantastic "James Bond" girl, who is seductive, dangerous and provocative. Bold and explosive colours and natural and precious stones just bring out to the fullest his signature haute couture jewellery style.

Upcoming trends

Brazilian jewellery designer Claudia Arbex has created five trendy pieces for Spring/Summer 2010, transforming and bringing into real life the essence of the key themes: Classic, Romance, Harmony, Progressive and Glamour. Here, high-tech and natural materials combos, simple and natural hues, pale greens, blues, pinks and creams in neoprene and stretchy metallics, technical construct details and a shimmering minerals palette and wet-look effects are major highlights.
