New pavilion combination at September Fair
"September is the perfect time to source for next spring and summer: we do expect this upcoming edition of the Fair to again be on a greater scale, given that the global economy is looking up," Celine Lau, director of jewellery fairs at UBM Asia, commented with regard to the September edition of Asia's Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair. As for the main highlight of the Fair, buyers will see the launch of the Indian Pavilion. The pavilions remaining unchanged are those for Hong Kong, mainland China, Korea and the Philippines. This combination of pavilions is expected to attract more visitors. |

 | Ms Lau also revealed that UBM Asia continues to add more apparel accessories items to the Fair, endeavouring to draw in more fashion buyers so as to further broaden its visitor base. As for the upcoming markets like Romania, Slovenia and Vietnam, the organiser has penetrated those countries with its visitor promotion. Despite the slightly slow response rate at the moment, the organiser is striving to enlarge its share in these markets. |
For the upcoming trends for Spring/Summer 2011, she predicts an influx of designs combining organic and high-tech elements, along with pieces mixing and matching key looks from the 1950s and 1980s. | |
 | The September Fair will take place from 14 to 17 September at AsiaWorld-Expo, while the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair will be held from 14 to 18 at the same venue and from 16 to 20 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. |
